Ice Storn

Abilene had a frosting of sugar last week. It shut down the town and cost me two days of work, but it was a welcome slow down. Phillip took off work because it was too cold to work outside. Schools and colleges and churches took the day off, too.

This picture is taken at random on the way to take my friend, Rebekah, and Phillip out to eat at Oscars. We had hot food and warm conversation. The chili rellenos there are excellent!

Phillip and I then went and had a long visit with my mother and then a cosy night at home. I am afraid to drive on even the smallest ice skim, so I was chauffeured around all day by my dear husband. Later, Matthew and Sarah joined us for summer and a long conversation. What a wonderful day!
